Dear Visitors

Following a tough year for many people, including our talented local artists, the North Somerset Arts team are delighted that plans for Arts Week 2021 have now been given the green light to go ahead following the lifting of Covid restrictions in July.

Award winning professional artists and many talented amateurs will exhibit artworks and a wide range of contemporary crafts that will lift your spirits, providing a feast of colour and texture after this most challenging 18 months. Most work will be available for sale in covid-secure venues. Artists, designers, and craft-makers based in 30 venues across North Somerset are keen to showcase their sumptuous creations made during the lockdowns and to share their enthusiasm and passion for their art with you.

Our intent for Arts Week is to celebrate creativity and advocate the positive benefits it has on the communities in our region. We invite you to explore North Somerset to visit areas and artists you have never seen before, connect and most of all be inspired.

Special thanks must go to our sponsor, Whitten and Co, the editorial team, social media campaigns and our downloadable app. Thanks to our volunteers, trustees and committee members who have given so much time. We would also like to thank The Quartet Foundation and Weston Town Council for providing grants to support this event.

Thank you for visiting North Somerset Arts Week 2021.
